Dr. Amit Kumar Chaurasia is an interventional cardiologist trained at leading medical institutions in India and Europe. He completed his MBBS from JIPMER, MD in Internal Medicine from AIIMS, New Delhi, and DM in Cardiology from SCTIMST, Trivandrum. He subsequently underwent fellowship training in complex coronary and structural heart disease in Europe.

His clinical expertise includes TAVI/TAVR, complex coronary interventions such as left-main and chronic total occlusion procedures, transcatheter pulmonary and mitral valve procedures, left atrial appendage closure, and peripheral vascular interventions. He also performs device closures for congenital heart defects such as ASD, VSD and PDA, as well as carotid, renal and aorto-iliac interventions.

Dr. Chaurasia has served as faculty, course director and speaker at numerous national and international cardiology conferences and has participated in TAVI training programmes in India and abroad. He has also been involved in teaching and supervision of DNB cardiology trainees.
