Dr. Harit K. Chaturvedi is a highly respected Surgical Oncologist and Chairman of Max Institute of Cancer Care, where he has been associated with Max Healthcare since 2009. He completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from G.S.V.M. Medical College, Kanpur, followed by an M.Ch. in Surgical Oncology from Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. Throughout his career, he has contributed significantly to the development of specialised cancer care, clinical quality, research and academic oncology. He has extensive experience in oncological surgery, with clinical expertise spanning breast cancer, head and neck cancers, thoracic malignancies and gastrointestinal cancers, as well as robotic and minimally invasive cancer surgery. Dr. Chaturvedi has also been actively involved in live surgical workshops, national and international conferences, academic publications and training of young surgeons. He has served in leadership positions with major oncology organisations, including the Indian Society of Oncology and the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology, and was the first organising secretary of the Indian Cancer Congress.
