Dr. I. P. S. Oberoi is an internationally trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with extensive expertise in joint replacement, arthroscopy and reconstructive orthopaedic surgery. He currently leads the Orthopaedics Program at Artemis Hospitals, Gurugram, where he serves as Chairperson and Chief of Robotic Joint Replacement & Arthroscopy Surgery. He completed his MS in Orthopaedics and MCh in Orthopaedics from the University of Liverpool, U.K., and underwent advanced training in joint replacement and adult reconstructive trauma surgery at Universitätsklinikum Münster, Germany. He also received specialized training in knee reconstruction, joint replacement, knee arthroscopy and reconstruction, and shoulder surgery at leading centres in Germany, the U.K., France and South Africa. Dr. Oberoi is experienced in both primary and revision joint replacement procedures involving the knee, hip, shoulder, elbow and ankle. He has also been among the early adopters of minimally invasive keyhole arthroscopic surgery for shoulder, elbow, hip and ankle conditions and has expertise in managing complex and multi-ligament knee injuries. His academic contributions include publications and research related to joint replacement, arthroscopy and sports injuries, and he has delivered lectures at national and international medical meetings.
