Dr. Rayaz Ahmed is a specialist in Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation with extensive experience in the management of blood disorders and haematological malignancies. He completed his MBBS from Pt. Ravi Shanker University, followed by MD from Shivaji University, Kolhapur, and DM in Clinical Hematology from Christian Medical College & Hospital, Vellore.

He has previously served as Senior Consultant in the Department of Hematology at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, New Delhi, and as Associate Professor in the Department of Hematology at CMC Vellore. His clinical experience includes more than 1,000 bone marrow transplants, covering autologous and allogeneic transplantation, including matched sibling, matched unrelated donor and haploidentical stem cell transplantation.

His areas of expertise include aplastic anaemia, thalassemia, sickle cell anaemia, leukaemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma. Dr. Ahmed has also contributed to numerous research publications covering haematological malignancies, stem cell transplantation, aplastic anaemia, thalassemia and other blood disorders. He received a University Gold Medal in MD Pathology from Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
