Dr. Subodh Chandra Pande is a distinguished Radiation Oncologist with several decades of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer using advanced radiation therapy techniques. After completing his MD in Radiotherapy from AIIMS, New Delhi, in 1977, he worked at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, where he was involved in establishing neuro-oncology and paediatric oncology services. He later joined Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, in 1997 and contributed to upgrading its stereotactic radiotherapy facility and developing a modern radiation oncology department. In 2005, he was appointed Director Medical Services at Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Jaipur, where he played a key role in commissioning the institution's first Linear Accelerator. He has a special interest in Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) and PET scan-based techniques for cancer management. His clinical focus includes head and neck cancers, CNS tumours, childhood cancers, and prostate cancers, with expertise in modern teletherapy and brachytherapy procedures.
