Dr. Sudhir Dubey is a highly accomplished neurosurgeon and Chairman of Neurosciences at Medanta – The Medicity, Gurugram. He completed his MBBS from King George's Medical College, where he was awarded the Sir Rupkishan Das Gold Medal for his performance in the final year. He subsequently trained in Neurosurgery at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), where he received the Silver Jubilee Award for being the best outgoing student in Neurosurgery. His pioneering work in brain tumor surgery received international recognition in Sydney, Australia, in 2001. He became the first and, according to Medanta, the only neurosurgeon from India to receive the Young Neurosurgeon's Award from the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies. Dr. Dubey has performed more than 10,000 neurosurgical procedures, including pituitary surgeries, and has played a pioneering role in endoscopic and minimally invasive approaches to brain, skull base, and spine surgery. His areas of expertise include endoportal brain surgery, endoscopic endonasal skull base surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery, and percutaneous spine procedures.
